Cheers to the National Sangria Day: A Toast to the Classic Spanish Cocktail

National Sangria Day is celebrated on Wednesday, 20th December 2023.

Where else to celebrate it other than at Taco Bill?

What is a sangria?

Sangria is a traditional Spanish drink that dates back to 200 B.C. Traditionally, sangria is made from a Spanish red wine which creates that deep red tone and essentially gives its title, with Sangria translating to blood in Spanish.

Over the decades, many varieties of Sangria have been developed, with new spice and flavour combinations. However, our traditional sangria is made from Red Wine, Brandy, Soda Water and fruit, which adds to create a graceful tangy taste.

When is the perfect time to enjoy a Sangria?

Our sangria is great on hot days, its light and fruity aspects make it refreshing and the perfect go-to drink for the summer, not to mention it's served chilled, with ice.

What to pair with our Sangria?

Spicy or salty meat dishes tend to be a better match with a fruity Sangria! Lucky for you, our menu offers a wide range of spicy, salty meat dishes that will pair perfectly with our Sangria!

So, celebrate this National Day at Taco Bill with a refreshing Sangria in one hand and a fork of our delicious Mexican food in the other!
